Graduated in Law from the University of Valencia in 2006.

Worked at BBVA, did an internship at the City of Justice Courts in Valencia and prepared for access to the judicial career for 6 months.

Initial and Medium Degree (10 years) in Piano at the José Iturbi Conservatory of Music in Valencia.

Master in Business Law at the Centro de Estudios Garrigues (Madrid, 2007 – 2008).

Here professional career is developed in the office ILP Abogados.

She has taken many courses in commercial, bankruptcy, industrial and intellectual property matters as well as in tax and accounting and entrepreneurship matters.

Currently she works as a specialist lawyer in Commercial Law, specifically in operations of purchase and sale of shares or assets, joint ventures and investment agreements, corporate reorganization operations (mergers, spin-offs, global assignments of assets and liabilities, etc.), management of secretariats of companies from various sectors and corporate operations (capital increases and reductions, distribution of dividends, etc.), commercial contracts. She has negotiated and drafted commercial contracts, financing contracts, and has provided legal advice on bankruptcy matters.

Ascensión has participated in company purchase and sale operations both nationally and internationally, as well as in business reorganisations. Here regular professional activity is basically focused on commercial advice to companies belonging to groups established in Spain. She is also a specialist in legal advice to recently established companies (Start Ups), in the search for sources of financing and in operations involving the entry of investors in these companies.

In addition to the above, she also collaborates in the Vice ILP Foundation, which is led by the ILP Abogados office together with the University of Nebrija, helping more than 300 projects to seek financing and to create a solid and sustainable business model, having taken part in the organization of the 2 editions of “ASTURIAS INVESTOR’S DAY” which brought together more than 400 people in Asturias and Madrid respectively.
