Degree in Economics from the University of Salamanca; Master in Taxation from the Garrigues Study Centre and Master in Auditing and Accountancy from the University of San Pablo Ceu.

Graduated in Law by the UNED; She has passed the EACA (entrance exam to the legal profession) so she acquired the TPA.

She joined the firm in September 2008, and now she is leading both the Regulatory Department and Bankruptcy Department.

Maria has experience in the analysis of financial statements and advising entrepreneurs on their tax and accounting obligations, forming part of the firm’s financial and administrative department.

In the commercial area, she advises commercial companies on corporate restructuring and refinancing, as well as on the investment, monitoring and disinvestment processes of the S.G.E.C.R.

In the area of bankruptcy, she has been working on legal and economic advice to creditors, debtors and bankruptcy authorities, in both ordinary and summary proceedings, at all stages.

She is skilled in Regulatory Issues with a specific expertise in Financial Regulatory (MiFid, UCITS, …) (Stock Market, Banking Market and Insurance Market)

As of leading the Regulatory Department she has experience in the implementation and training of criminal risk prevention programmes (compliance) in listed companies, ManCos, Venture Capital Management Companies, companies owned by Private Equity and Venture Capital Funds, Universities, Financial Institutions, … (We can accredit this experience).
