María Sanz González
Economics degree from the University of Salamanca; Master’s in Taxation from Centro de Estudios Garrigues and Master’s in Auditing and Accounting from San Pablo CEU University.
Law degree from UNED; she has passed the EACA (bar examination) and holds the necessary professional qualification.
She joined the firm in September 2008, in the corporate and insolvency department.
María has experience in analysing financial statements and advising business owners on their tax and accounting obligations, as part of the firm’s finance and administration department.
In the corporate field, she advises companies on corporate reorganisations, restructurings and refinancings, as well as on investment, monitoring and divestment processes for venture capital firms (S.G.E.C.R.).
In the insolvency area, she has provided legal and financial advice to creditors, debtors and insolvency administrators in both summary and ordinary proceedings, at all stages.
She has experience in the implementation and training of criminal risk prevention programmes (compliance) in listed companies, collective investment scheme managers, venture capital managers, companies held by venture capital funds, private universities, financial institutions, … (we can evidence this experience).
